Ashlyn Wilkins is a licensed clinical social worker with six years of experience in mental and behavioral health. She specializes in addressing a range of concerns, including bipolar, depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and challenges unique to athletes. Ashlyn’s approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, creating a compassionate and supportive space where healing can thrive. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and the Seeking Safety model, empowering clients to navigate challenges with resilience and confidence.
Ashlyn earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and her Master’s in Social Work, building a solid foundation for her work in mental health. As a former student-athlete, she understands the unique pressures of sports and competition—a perspective she draws upon to connect with and support athletes. Her advanced training includes a certificate in sport social work from the Alliance of Social Workers in Sports and Tulane University, which deepens her expertise in helping athletes manage their mental health and enhance performance.
Her professional journey includes working with children and teenagers in in-home and residential settings and providing care to adults in community mental health clinics. These diverse experiences have shaped her empathetic and adaptable approach, allowing her to connect with clients across different life stages and circumstances.
