Meet Anthony
Anthony Morgan, LAPC
EMDR, CBT & DBT Trained
Associate Clinician
Anthony’s approach integrates evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), within a meaning-centered framework. He helps clients develop practical skills for emotional regulation, thought restructuring, and behavioral change while also engaging in depth-oriented work that supports exploration of identity, values, and purpose at developmentally appropriate levels. He believes the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of effective counseling and brings a direct, grounded, and collaborative style to his work—creating a space where clients of all ages feel safe, understood, and supported as they build accountability, emotional strength, and confidence.
In addition to his clinical work, Anthony has spent much of his life immersed in competitive sports and currently coaches elementary basketball. His athletic background informs a strong foundation in sports performance psychology, including focus, confidence, emotional regulation under pressure, recovery from mistakes, and resilience after failure. He integrates these principles into therapy to help clients—especially adolescents and high-performing individuals—understand how mindset, nervous system regulation, and behavioral habits directly influence both mental health and performance.
Before entering the counseling profession, Anthony spent nearly a decade in corporate leadership roles and is a U.S. Army combat veteran, experiences that give him firsthand insight into high-stress environments, burnout, and performance-driven identity struggles. His trauma-informed approach emphasizes the inseparable connection between mental health, the nervous system, and the body. Anthony helps clients recognize that symptoms such as anxiety, irritability, emotional numbing, and difficulty concentrating are often rooted in prolonged stress responses rather than personal weakness or lack of motivation, supporting sustainable healing and resilience.
